Eight Republicans on the 2026 ballot want to represent places where the paper trail — mortgages, ballots, flight records, voter rolls — keeps pointing somewhere else: Virginia, Florida, Kansas, or the next district over.
On September 16 the House passed the PROOF Act, 217-207. It orders states to turn over whatever Medicaid, SNAP and other benefit records Attorney General Todd Blanche asks for in writing, with no judge involved. A federal court had already blocked the Trump administration from cutting food stamp funding to states that refused to hand over recipient data. 185 of the members who voted yes have report cards on this site.
In June, 19 Republicans in Congress signed a letter urging the EPA to add mifepristone to its list of possible water contaminants. On September 9 the EPA announced a drinking-water study that includes the two abortion drugs. Environmental health experts say there's no scientific evidence abortion medication harms the environment or people — and five days later, the EPA announced it is scrapping carbon limits on power plants.
Angelica Garcia, a single mother in Tucson, was kept off SNAP for two months while Arizona rewrote the program to comply with Trump's budget bill. Ciscomani signed a letter urging House leaders to keep SNAP protected, listed it as a first-100-days accomplishment, then voted for the bill — and never mentioned food assistance in either statement he put out about it. More than 400,000 Arizonans have lost benefits since.
In 2011, state Sen. Andy Biggs sponsored SB 1519 to end AHCCCS, the program covering nearly 1.4 million Arizonans. His replacement wouldn't have fully covered the roughly 100,000 people with severe mental illness and disabilities who relied on it — on purpose, he said, because covering them meant no savings. Now he wants to be governor.
On September 15 the House voted 220-204 to end the war with Iran — the third time since June. Republicans voted 203 to 7 against it, and 180 of the members who voted no are on our report cards. The same day, the Congressional Budget Office put the war's direct cost at $38.1 billion and said it will push inflation higher into 2027.
America PAC has reported $5.1 million in independent spending this cycle. Eighteen Republicans with report cards on this site are the main beneficiaries — and nearly three-quarters of the money went to attack ads, not to making a case for them.
In July his campaign site opposed funding foreign wars and promised to rein in reckless spending. Both sections are gone. His “about” page has dropped his anti-abortion line. A poll now shows the race within the margin of error in a district Trump won by 15.
Andrew Clyde led a brief filed September 4 telling the justices that a rifle's usefulness in war is a reason to protect it, not a reason to restrict it. Fifty-seven of the signers have a report card on this site.
